I recently visited a house to look at a sump pump. This style pump has a built in float switch that comes up to the power outlet where the power plug plugs into the switch. When I pulled the two plugs out of the outlet and then pulled them apart I saw some green liquid on the plug prongs. Does anyone know what this might be or why it's there?
