I would like any tips some of you may have for using the 555 to do back to back bends. I've been using a lot of 2" rigid lately and would like to hear how you do this bend. The manual has no info on back to backs that I've seen.

Thanks.

If it?s 90?s: layout your first 90, deduct according to the shoe and put mark at front of shoe, bend then measure 2nd 90 from back of 1st bend. Deduct and repeat the first steps.

If your not bending 90?s you may test bend to find you bend centers, mark your shoe for center and bend accordingly.

Dug Deep

OK guys, I had to dig deep for this one. On a tripple nickle bender (555) if you need a offset from 3/8" - 1-3/4" put 2 marks on the conduit 5" apart and use your desired offset as your travel.
Example:
Lets say you need a 1" offset on your conduit. Put 2 marks on your conduit 5 inches apart. Once you have your mark lined up on your shoe, measure back 1inch and allow 1" of travel. Do the same step for your 2nd bend. Works perfect evertime.
