I am looking for any electricians that have a JW series Greenlee 555 or know how to operate them. I recently purchased one at an auction, I saw Greenlee 555 and thought awesome! Unfortunately I found out that Greenlee quit making them 35 years ago and they have no parts or manuals. I am looking for help to figure out how to operate it and find missing parts. I have attached a picture so you can see what it looks like. Is there anyone familiar with these machines??

How tacky of Greenlee not to have parts available. Their equipment is good and should be for the $ they charge. That $ should entitle you to spare parts & manuals too. My co. just bought a current 555 and a co. I used to work for bought a Cyclone about 2001. I think it was in the 555 series.

You can probably get some leads on E Bay and/or Craigslist. Maybe some of the parts are interchangeable with other 555 models?

The bending shoes generally only fit in one position. I forget at the moment but I think they sort of twistlock on & off. Have to work at it. You have to overbend a little. Something like 48 degrees for a 45 & it springs back. About 94 or 95 degrees for a 90. Practice with some scrap at first.

EMT requires roller guides that flip up from the bottom. They attach with a hinge pin.
