Greenlee 854dx bender

I was using the greenlee 854dx bender today and set the position for bending emt. I loaded a 2” conduit into the bender, locked the rollers, then set the degree at 10. When I pressed bend, nothing happened the controller only displayed “up”

Also, I never knew that the bender had transport mode. Could the bender be damaged by moving it from one place to another in the horizontal bending position. If anyone is familiar with the greenlee 854dx bender I would appreciate the assistance. Thanks
