Greenlee Bender Problems

I have a Greenlee 854dx power bender with the 02840 shoe for pvc coated pipe....wondering is anyone else has see this problem and if they would have a fix, when I bend the pipe the shoe catches and removes/scrapes some of the coating off the pipe, also when it catches it turns the pipe in the shoe making offset and saddles very difficult to get perfect. I have called and talked to Greenlee and they just want to blame the pipe manufacture. Anyone else seen this problem and might have some advise that would be great.

Double check they sold you the shoe you ordered... you never know...
It shouldnt be doing any of those things. Do they sell a different roller for coated?

I will say you gotta keep your pipe out of the sun, if you are ripping the coating then offsets would definately rotate... and coating could tear w/ just a °90.

We always bent PVC coated rigid using the next larger shoe so I have never used the parts actually designed for PVC coated rigid.
