Greenlee C punch

Hey guys wondering if anyone else out there has issues with the Greenlee C punch. what Knockout dies are you using? I have tried a couple different dies but it seems like the metal is extremely difficult to remove from the die cutter after it punches. we have to remove the die from the C punch everytime between each punch. I have contacted Greenlee about the issues but the best they can tell me is "yeah that seems to be a problem"

Is the slug sticking to the punch or the die?

If the die, don't those have a full-size-through hole where you can just keep punching until the slug comes out the other side? At the end of the session, insert a smaller piece of something (e.g. short piece of conduit) to push the remaining slugs out.

If the punch side, I've never tried it, but perhaps covering the hole before you punch with masking tape will help.

For larger size KO's the best thing to do is flatten the slug with a hammer, falls right out.

You are probably are putting the die in backwards.
the ridge in the die goes towards the die.

I found that if you don't completely finish the stroke (becomes harder to pump) they stick. When it breaks loose, you're not done pumping.
