Grid Tie Connection

We are in the middle of building a new house which has 400amp service with (2) 200amp disconnects on the exterior of the house. Planning to build a large shop roughly 150’ away from the disconnects and installing a large PV system (45Kw) on the roof of the shop. What is the best way to grid tie the system with both 200amp disconnects to be able to supply power to all loads in the house as well as back feed the grid. Going to be doing a lot of trenching and trying to understand how many runs of feeder we need to put in the ground for the future shop and subsequent PV system.

It’s not very simple and you will need an electrical contractor to take this on and to make sure you will pass inspections. We do not allow posts from DUYs per forum rules
