Hello all;
I will be re-wiring this grinder pump. The original UF cables have been cut and spliced together with the yellow twist lock weather proof connectors you see in the photos.

The black connector accommodates both cables for the pump (a 240V 15 amp line and a 120V 15 amp line). I am not sure if I need to replace that black connector or are the wires under lugs that have set screws so I can just bring in my new cables?.

Is this connector familiar to anyone?
A part number or a hint where I might find some info about that connector would be great.
Thank you all.

It's not a lame question. The only one I have ever used that LOOKED like this one was in a lift station. The wires were lugged under a terminal block. The outer shell was two piece with male and female Chanel on the sides. You put this shell around the terminal and filled it up with a silicone resin provided in the kit. It was held in place top and bottom by a SS hose clamp. It was a one shot deal after the silicone went in. To be safe I would have a couple of submersible well pump splice kits with me.

Good idea to have the submersible splicing kits.
But the pit that this splice is going into doesn't normally fill up with water.
I guess that since it is a "pit" it could fill up??

I would use them because of the environment their in. It would probably be considered a wet location.
