Ground and neutral shorted

Had one of our men tell me today that i had a problem with my sub panels ,they all had a problem with neutral and ground shorted together.Waiting till morning to see if he figured out why.Tried to exsplain it to him but he had closed mind.Maybe a few beers will help LOL

that is funny I thought that was the easiest way to check to see if you had an open neutral

if you can spare the time you might walk him through finding where the neutral and ground come together it will give him a better understanding of how the subpanel is wired and why

Remove the ground from the supply side of the feeder, that will solve the problem, we all know that ground doesnt do anything anyway.

I wish it was a joke,he seriously said it should read 0 at his end but mine should not.He had a hard day so i didnt push it and he normally is one of our better guys.Will probably come to him at about 3 am LOL
