If the owner of a residence is going to have satellite for their phone / data / tv . Do I then need to install a bonding bar under the eve of the residence? And, if so, what size wire is required to be ran to it? This will be at the opposite side of the house from my panel. Could I run a #12 THWN from a receptacle to it? Thanks, :?

I would install an intersystem bonding bridge near the service and the satellite installer will (should) do the bonding.

You need to read over 810.21 (A) thru (K) 2011 NEC

Yep!

They will bond alright, they will use a split bolt about a foot away from the bonding bridge instead of loosening a screw and sliding their ground wire in.:happyyes:

I agree. Yet my responsibility ends at installing the bonding bridge. Technically, when I do a service upgrade I'm supposed to call the phone/cable/satellite companies and have them reinstall their ground wiring, but I just do it.

That is what they will do if they should run it that far. In OP's case where it is located opposite side of house they will hit the AC disconnect if it close, or some water piping (may not even be continuous metallic piping system), or may just drive a ground rod on the far side and will only connect to this rod.
