ground bus bar in network room

I have to add a GROUND BUS BAR to a network/LAN room. but the electrical room is approximately 100 ft away , and this a the 6th floor of a existing building. Would it be a problem with the regulation of not having a ground wire not longer than 50ft, given that I exceed that length?

as far as I know it is only the NEC.

We have gone way over 50' many times in government applications. There is a plethora of other codes and regulations for different systems and organizations that may say differently but I am not familiar with a 50' limit for a TBB

Where is the 50' distance limit written? I'm unfamiliar with it and have had to run really long grounds to building steel and such.
