Your diagram is incomplete so the answer is not entirely apparent.
You would need a MBJ at the house and the GES would typically be connected at that point as well.
On the garage side the GES gets connected to the equipment grounding conductor as shown.
The distance between the buildings is not especially relevant.
I am not real conversant with PV systems, but I think it would need a connection to the GES at the garage.
