Is ground fault protection required per 230.95 on a new distribution panel that is a 1200 amp 120/208 wye connected panel?

What component is rated 1200 amps? The enclosure? One breaker? All of the breakers combined?

GF protection is not required for a 208Y/120V service. The code requirement states that GF protection is required where the voltage is greater than 150V to ground for a solidly grounded wye service. GF protection would only be required for 480Y/277V services.

Mf's post said 120/208 WYE connected configuration of windings, therefor no "high leg".

The main breaker is 1200A.
