When we put together a grounding plan for a new structure, I know it is common practice (at least for me and my coworkers) to run a bare copper ground from the service entrance equipment, transformers, motor frames, etc., but where in article 250 does it say that we must make these connections to the ground ring from the equipment mentioned above?
I think I've found the place in the code where it says we have to do this for transformers, but what about motor frames and even the steel in the concrete pads for the motors?
