My ground rods are 6' apart .I measured along wall 5' along one wall then I hit the corner to transition to the other wall which I go 1' so basically it's like a L figure if I measure diagonal from one ground to other ground rod I'm only at 4.5 feet. I'm I good has long has I have 6' apart along wall thanks

Um, no you're not. You don't measure 'along the wall'. You measure 'as the crow flies'. Fault current doesn't have a propensity to flow along the wall.

To add to 480's post, the rods should actually be their length apart at minimum.

I have always found this IN to be rather dumb, why have a 6' requirement then tell us that 8' or 10' would better?
