ground rod conductor

Is it considered a violation to run 2 separate
conductors from the ground bus in a service panel to the ground rods? I have seen it done where one wire runs out to the first rod and then unbroken runs to the next. I have also seen it done where the contractor runs one wire to each rod and lands them both on the ground bus in the panel.
My feeling is both methods are in compliance but my new boss feels otherwise. Who is right?

Thanks
Rick

Listen and obey your Boss, even if he is wrong, but in this case he is correct.

Two feeds equal two electrodes. One feed to two rods equal one electrode.

Hardhat, either way will meet the requirements of the NEC.

But the boss is always right, so do it his way and keep him happy. :)

Either method is compliant with NEC 250.64(F).
