I need to ground a transformer, there is no building steel in the area so I'm looking at other options. This is an interior location but is on grade level. Would it be acceptable to drill a hole through the concrete and set a ground rod ? 250.53 (A) (1) tells me "If practicable install below permanent moisture level" Not sure if 50ft from the exterior of a building would be a good ground but if I can achieve 25 ohms or less I think this is an acceptable installation. Anyone ever done this?

Read carefully ehat the requirement actually is, both for what can be used as a grounding electride and what must be usef as such.

Also, read carefulky what the actual requirement is regarding 25 Ohms.

Lastly, read carefully just what your ootions are ase far as a griunding electride connection is in your casse, and what you are required to do. I

Why do you have so many mistakes in your typing. Are you trying something new? :)

"250.30(A)(4) (4) Grounding Electrode. The building or structure grounding electrode system shall be used as the grounding electrode for the separately derived system ..."

I'm not sure what happened there. If I drank, I could always blame it on being drunk. :)

every now and then really weird stuff comes out of the speech to text conversion that Google does.
