Is it required to install a ground rod at a lift station control panel if 3 phase power is run from one panel at a building/structure then underground to a new lift station control panel. A grounding conductor is run with the power circuits but for some reason I'm thinking that if its more than one circuit or could be considered another structure that a ground rod would be required there also. I hope I explained this ok. Thanks for any and all help.

Take a look at 250.32 A exception

Should that "control panel" supply more then one load this would raise the question if there is more then one circuit.

Place a convenience receptacle or light at the separate structure and it is very likely not a single circuit application.

That said the disconnecting means at the separate structure needs to be suitable for use as service equipment as well.
