Ground toning out

We have an issue with noise on low voltage wires. If you take a toner and tone unused wire and everything metal we are getting static like it’s reading voltage. It’s a 1200 amp single phase system residential. Any idea’s?

What exactly is your toner? A non contact voltage probe?

Try real meters. Low impedance to start with

The high impedance does not load the circuit so you pick up all the noise
