petersonra Senior Member Location Northern illinois Occupation Semi-retired engineer May 22, 2012 #2 It is not unusual to have a grounding clamp that can be attached to a truck to limit the potential for static build up if that is a problem. I don't think it will be an issue in this case. It is really outside the scope of the NEC though.
