I am installing a wireless Fire System radio link. The antennas will be installed mostly on Steel structured and sided buildings, although some buildings are wood strutures. The antennas will have ground cables running down the antenna mast. The problem is iron ore mines have no earth ground. We have to create grounding beds for our building / substation ground reference. Ground rods are useless and in some areas impossible due to rock. I want to find the shortest path to ground and still stay within NEC, Article 800. Any ideas?
