I am trying to find out if it would be acceptable to Run a 3ph 3W feeder from a 3ph 4W MDP panel (120/208 wye) to feed a bank of airconditioning units - no other type of loads. i.e would I need a neutral as part of the feeder or is the neutral a requirement of the code. If the neutral is needed then is there an engineering formula that can be used to determine the size of the neutral conductor for such application?
