Hello,
I am on a wind farm and we are building a substation forthis wind farm. And I am overseeing the construction of the Substation here andI came across this on our plans and I am looking at this and I am at a loss canyou please help me understand how this can be a legal installation.
I am sending you a couple of pictures with this email.
To understand the pictures it is a 400 amp 3 phase servicethat will power our control enclosure. The drawings show a #8 cad-welded to our4/0 grounding grid and then cad-welded to a #8 then crimped to a #2 going intothe service disconnect. Is this a legal or illegal grounding installation. I amsaying it’s illegal and that is why I am asking you. And yes this is on ourengineered plans.
I know you are a very busy person, however if you couldemail me back as soon as possible with your comment this would help with myunderstanding or possibly help with getting this corrected.
