Grounding & Bonding in Class 1 Div. 2

Scenario: Class 1 Div. 2 Motorized valve, pump motor or solenoid supplied from 20a. or larger breaker thru LFMC with listed fittings (may or may NOT contain a green EGC).

Question: Do we need to install an external bonding jumper ?

These are existing instalations some have external jumpers, some do not. Calling different manufacturers have yielded conflicting information that has caused me to be confused when reading the NEC.

See Section 501.30(B). As described, the Exception does not apply. A bonding jumperper 250.102 (E)] must be installed.

2 equipment manufacturers insisted the bonding jumper around the LFMC was not required, this seemed to contradict what I was understanding in the code.
