I am working on a 20 x 40 storage shed, The foundation piers were pre cast pillars and build on this is a Metal Shed.

The slab is 20x40 with wire mesh. What should be bonded. I tried to get a Direct burial lug for the wire mesh but they did not stock this. I don't think this needs to be ground. But the shed is like 20 gauge steel. Any inputs. If I was to ground the Slab mesh. I was going use a # 4 thwn. I feel I don't have to bond this now since it only sits on Rock and Plastic vapor barrier. Any input. I have till tomorrow to do.

If the slab sits on a plastic vapor barrier, it's not in direct contact with the earth anyway, and can't be used as a grounding electrode. This sounds like one of those situations where you drive a couple of ground rods, bond the metal frame of the building, and call it good.

You are not required to bond or use the slab for an electrode.

I agree with JD, pound a couple of rods in, bond the structure and call it a day.

Just to pound the nail solidly into the coffin, the wire mesh reinforcement does not meet the size requirement (minimum 1/2" diameter) to create a CEE.
Not surprising that the OP could not find a suitable clamp to attach to the mesh.
