Grounding bushings

Looking for a more clear description on when and where a grounding bushing is needed.

We do a lot of 600 amp services for larger homes. Usually our set up is a 36x36 CT with a 3" nipple into a 36x6x6 gutter and out of the bottom of the gutter dropping into each of our 200amp service disconnects. Thanks.

Almost never required unless you're dealing with concentric and eccentric KO's. Your 3" nipple can be bonded by using a single grounding locknut on a 3" punched hole.
