Grounding Electrode Identification/Installation

Having a disagreement concerning installation of GEC. I know 250.119 covers identification of EGC, but I do not see any identification requirements (green) in 250.64 for the GEC, are there any identification requirements for the GEC? Also just looking for some confirmation; the way i see it, 250.64 (B) says that FMC can't be used to protect the GEC from physical damage. To help confirm this 348.12 (7) says FMC is not permitted to be used " where subject to physical damage". So it is a violation to use a short section of FMC from a transformer, for vibration purposes, per 250.64(B)?

Forget the green tape on the GEC unless you feel it's a better installation. If the GEC is not subject to physical damage then you can use FMC. If it is subject to physical damage then you cannot use FMC to provide protection for the GEC.

GREEN TAPE? Thought that was for novices!

Not novices, but hard headed JW's who because they have always done something one way believe they did it that way because code says so. Oh and they don't like being told they're not right by a young JW.

Stick around here and you'll have plenty of things to tell them that they're doing incorrectly. ;)
