Good evening,
I'm putting in the service on my own home that I'm building, and have a question pertaining to grounding. I have a junction box after the meter and disconnect, in which the 4/ feeder splits to a run of 350mcm feeder and another 4/0 feeder. Is it permissable to ground one feeder through the box with a double lug then land the wire in the splice with the other egc's. I have attached a picture, on the far right is the ground splice and the double lug. Basically I want to pigtail from that connector on the right , into that double lug which has the ground for a panel already landed there.

I am not a diyer, I have posted on here before. It just so happens I'm doing a project for me.

Lets back up a bit. You are coming off the service disconnect and splitting into a 4/0 run and 350 MCM run.
What is the OCPD in the service?
Is this an outside feeder tap application?

200 a service
200 a service disconnect( breaker ) after meter.
Leaves disconnect and enters this box. The 350mcm is to feed my garage, which is 385' from the meter pedestal. Larger wire to prevent voltage drop, plus I got a discount on a 500' spool ?

If I understand correctly, you have a 4/0 AL protected by a 200 amp breaker coming into the jbox.
IMO, you are allowed to make the connection you mentioned. In essence you would be grounding the box from the polaris connector and attaching another equipment ground to that lug.
From the picture, what are the two wires presently connected to the equipment ground polaris and did you take into consideration up-sizing the equipment ground on the 350kcmil feeder per 250.122

The 2 wires already in the Polaris are the grounds coming in from the service disconnect(bare aluminum) and the ground for the garage(black wire with green tape). The ground for the garage which has the 350mcm feeder has been upsized to 1/0 al (250.66) The ground that is in the lug already, feeds a nema 3r outdoor panel, with provisions to continue on to the home.
