Hi,
I have a job where we need to ground three trailer hitched generators. Each generator will feed a power distribution center for band equipment and lighting.
We live up in the mountains in Colorado and driving a ground rod this time of year isn't fun at all.
I'm wondering if it's possible to ground the generators off of a nearby barn's grounding electrode. Just looking at the definition of Seperately Derived System leads me to think that I can't.
Another question that I have, if I have to drive ground rods, do all three generators need their own grounding electrodes or can I put them all together?
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
Andy
