I have a trailer mounted generator with voltage taps. I am tapping at 120/240 single phase. Need to mount a panel 10' from generator to get enough circuits. where should grounding electrode be located (rod or two)? Generate has ground lug, neutral lug, phase a-b-c lugs.

This is considered a seperatly derived system.
See article 100 definition.
You'll need a system bonding jumper, see Art 250 definition.
The rules for your application are in section 250.30. The grounding electrode conductor is installed at the same location of the system bonding jumper.
The grounding electrode is installed per 250.30 (7).
I know you are looking for a quick answer, I would rather you understand the rules. Make sure you install the system bonding jumper. It provides the fault current path from a line to case fault back into the generator windings.

if ground and neutral are bonded internal at generator does circuit breaker panel (120/240 single phase 4 wire mounted on pole 10' from generator)need additional grounding electrode?

Joe, welcome to the zoo.

Hoping Tom doesn't mind, the simple translation is that the electrode(s) should connect at the point where the neutral and ground conductors are connected together.

They should be connected together, either at the generator or inside the panel. Make sure you know whether or not they are connected within the generator already.
