I’m surface mounting (quantity 2), 4” metal JB’s next week and planning things now before I provide my plan to my boss. (apprentice here)
There is 10ft of EMT in between the jbs. The first one is a splice coming up from the basement. The second is a GFCI.
I’ve always grounded the boxes via a 10/32 screw in each box and pigtailed all grounds together. Want to make sure a separate ground for the EMT isn’t required.
