Part of the reason that Grounding is a complex topic is that it shows up all over the NEC. No question here, just encouragement to those who have noticed that it is hard:

Sections of the code that mention GroundingSections of the code that do not

It's possible to commit all of 250 to memory and still miss important points.

First those are all Articles and not sections, and of the 13 Articles in the top row that you say do not mention grounding, 10 of them do in one form or another.

No and Yes for me.
What about bonding?
Is grounding, bonding?
Difference between grounded and grounding.
Difference between a grounded conductor and grounding conductor.
Insert the word conductor and it takes on a different meaning and so on.
A grounded conductor is not always a netural conductor.
A grounded conductor can also be a phase (line) conductor with that line zero volts to ground if you put a tester on it. Put an amp clamp on it under load and um.
Big diff between, Equipment Grounding Conductor and A grounded conductor.
Then there can be two line (ungrounded)conductors attached to a 125 volt receptacle which is polarized with one side identified as the location of a grounded conductor. Which also requires a equipment grounding conductor

I can see why it seems hard at times.
A good reason Mike holt forum exist.
I have learned a lot reading and participating here.

I'll share something my dad said to me back in 73. I ask what's so hard about it. He said ok explain to me the difference between ground, grounded and grounding.
I said they all start with a G.
He laughed and said boy you have a lot to learn. He said to my mom he is a smart _ _ _. My mom said you ask. Guess what, I'm still learning.
Think about how difficult it was before they reworked 250. 🤯

I like to tell the guys if you learn one thing, artical 250 is it. They said that's easy. Get the green wire, right. 🤣😂🤬😢

Thanks for posting.

They're all referenced in the index under Grounding or Grounded. (2017 Code Book)
