i have several lines (BX and romex) coming into a 3 gang plastic switch box. The owner has the ground for romex cable clamped to the BX exterior sheeting. ( do to the instulation of a plastic box there was a lack of gound available). Replacing this box means opening up the wall...will the romex ground being attached to the BX cable be adequate?

How?

If your BX is terminated with a locknut-type of connector, use a bonding bushing on it.
