Hi,
Is there a specific way as to connect main ground, control ground and shield ground at the power panel from where it is generated? Is it best to keep them separate at the panel or just connect them all together? Do we need to use an approved ground bar? And what about the symbols? I understand that the symbols for each one are different. Any ideas? Thanks.

It is pretty common to seperate these grounds. They evetually have to be run back to the utility ground, where they get connected together.

Purportedly, this arrangement reduces noise on the lower voltage circuits. I have my doubts.
