grounding non-electrical equipment: vessels, filters, tanks, etc

I'm hoping to find an article on the NEC that points to what kinds of equipment (non-electrical) need or don't need to be grounded. Specifically, vessels, filters, heat exchangers, towers, and tanks. Has anyone seen such thing, or is this topic just limited to the circuits mentioned in article 250 of the 2017 edition?
