I'm working on a project for above ground storage tanks. The tanks are located away from the building. There are feeders (conduits and cables) for motors and controls from a panel at the building to the tanks. Do the tanks have to be grounded and bonded with a conductor from the panel out to the tanks? Or do I need a grounding grid with electrodes and wires around the tanks and then use a egc from that grid back to the panel?
