Hello every one,
I'm working on a larg building (1000'L X 400'W), the main service is at the corner of the building, it's a steel building. we have a mutiple of electric room spread out throughout the building, my question is; Can I ground the transformers (feeding 208Y/120V loads) by bonding to the steel column? or do I need to run a seperate cable (3/0) from the main grounding bus bar located at the service entrance to each electric room? My design now shows only bonding to the building column steel at each electric room. The reseon I'm asking because it such a large building, and wondering if it will effect the resistivity of grounding for the steel building.
Thanks for your thought in advance.....
