Grounding system

If you were to connecting your grounding system in the meter can . Do you need to run a ground wire from the meter to the main binding jumper in the MBP

It's not objectionable current so to say, it's creating a parallel neutral.

The NEC calls it objectionable current because as Roger stated it creates a parallel path for the neutral current.

250.6 Objectionable Current.
(A) Arrangement to Prevent Objectionable Current. The grounding of electrical systems, circuit conductors, surge arresters, surge-protective devices, and conductive normally non–current-carrying metal parts of equipment shall be installed and arranged in a manner that will prevent objectionable current.

Not in my opinion. What happens before the service equipment is not really under our control, the bottom line is an EGC from the meter to the service equipment is just wasted money.
