grounding with emt

OK to run EMT raceway, pull a ground wire and pass through 4 squares to receptacle without connecting EGC to 4 squares,only connected to receptacle? if not could you reference article, thanks

Basically if they simply pass thru with no splice or termination, then no connection to the box is needed.

No need for supplemental ground unless it’s say the hospital code. NEC does not require it. No technical reason not to use EMT as ground.

Doesn't the non-required EGC, one pulled in, need to terminate to any box where the associated line conductors are terminated, say on a receptacle, regardless of whether it also terminates on said receptacle?
