last year we installed a 800 amp 3 phase mdp by paralleling the appropriately sized al. conductors. we used 3 four inch pvc pipes, from the transformer to the mdp. buried 4 feet deep, under a concrete slab. we also laid a spare 4 inch pipe. Now the owner of the building wants to install a generator. The entire length of the pipe is about 150 feet. The placement of the 4 wire transfer switch and generator is about 10 feet from the transformer, therefore leaving 140 to the mdp. the question is this----- Does there have to be an equipment ground in each conduit or can I use the fourth spare conduit for the equipment ground. thanks
