Article 250.119A States larger than #6 to be green throuhout it's entire length.
Does this include #6 as well, or #6 would be considered a solide green, and just use green tape at terminals for larger than #6

Equipment grounding conductors #6 AWG and smaller must be finished green, green with yellow stripe or be bare. #4 AWG and larger are permitted to be reidentified by an approved means. The same applies to GROUNDED conductors in Article 200.
 
It is worded strangely.

6 AWG and smaller has to be green or bare the entire length.

4 AWG and larger can be taped or stripped at all accessible points.

Those are the NEC requirements what is actually enforced is usually another story.
