I am doing a service change on an older commercial building with wood studs and no steel to ground to the sevice is being mounted on the front of the building where the sidewalk is and on the side is a parking lot which is also concrete I have no place to put the ground rod and be within the 10 foot limit of the service without boring a hole in the concrete in either Location do you have any suggestions as to how this can be done and be within code

Re: Grounding

Which 10' limit do you refer to? I've never heard of such a requirement/limitation.

If I were inspecting, you would be drilling two holes or showing less than 25 Ohms. :)

Re: Grounding

I am referring to the distance between the ground rod and the meter base or panel as per the amendments that Dallas Texas has
