Grouping Conductors - DC circuit

There is a battery plant circuit which includes paralleled 535kcmil conductors in 3 raceways. Oddly enough the contractor placed a mixture of positives and negative in each of the EMT runs. So there isn't the same number of positives as negatives in each raceway.
300.20(A) requires grouping but only applies to AC current.
300.3(B) requires grouping and applies to AC and DC.

So does the conductors of the same circuit require grouping, the two references above conflict?

Re: Grouping Conductors - DC circuit

I don't read the sections as conflicting as much as complimenting. 300.3(B) requires conductors of the same circuit to be grouped together, but 300.3(B)(1) allows paralleling. 300.20 addresses induced currents in AC systems, so I would interpret this to mean that DC systems are not subject to the provisions of 300.20. When AC circuits are installed in parallel, the provisons of both articles apply.
