I have a customer with a Sylvania GTE breaker panel. I see Seamans and Eaton breakers in there but of course I know just because they fit does not mean they are approved for that panel. Who owns Sylvania now and what specific breakers can I use in there?

Thanks

Thanks so much, was not sure.

So these would be ok for that panel.

100 amp

20 amp tandem

Now this is what confuses me and I have never had a good explanation of the difference of these two. What is the difference between this one, 20 amp tandem BR BD and the other 20 amp tandem I listed just above here as only a BR.

Thanks all.

The answer to your first question is yes and the difference between those tandems is that the BDs are for notched busses meaning that they are only for use in those certain panels- the notching limits the number of those tandem breakers used in that panel. The BR are for unnotched busses and you can actually end up exceeding the number of circuits the panel was listed for iirc.
