Does anyone have a Manufacturer/Model Number for a guide that gets used on PVC, and allows a nice square cut with a Sawzall. I have seen them, thought - boy wouldn't that be nice to have - but know I can't find them in any stores around here.

Marc - thanks. I'm wondering if there is anything else out there for the larger conduit sizes. I seem to get drift on the 3" and 4".

The Milwaukee one I linked to is rated by the manufacturer for up to 4" iron pipe size.

Oops - you beat me -that last one you posted was exactly what I was looking for. Think that's the one i saw. I wonder if I can modify it for my Dewalt?

Perhaps if you dig in DeWalt's website, they offer a similar shoe? I don't want to defile my computer by getting on that cursed brand's site, or I'd check myself.

I just measure a few spots around the pipe on larger diameter pipe then just mark all the way around... dont waste your time or money on a add on tool for a sawzall, at worst if your doing ALOT of cutting, invest in a chop saw...

Why not use a pipefitter's method: either the real deal or a make-shift substitute... just yesterday I used a strap wrench as a marking guide on 4" rigid aluminum and got a nice square cut using a portaband.

I have also used a cordless circular saw on PVC, using the plate shoe edge to eyeball the square cut. Very, very fast.
