I'm leaving 45 min early every morning now to find a gas station that actually has gas. Wait times to get to the pump are around 20 minutes. They've got limits between $10 and $30; The job I'm on this week is 100 miles round trip, so I'm refueling 2-3 times a day, depending on the purchase limit. I've bought from 7 different stations now because they're all running out. The prices are coming down a little, but it doesn't matter when they don't have any. Anyone else facing the same situation?

The high price of fuel is bad enough when you can get it but I can't imagine the dilema that your going thru. Seems to be enough gas filled up today $3.89 Michigan.

watched the news this evening; tallahassee looks to be in worse shape with more fuel outages and prices from $4.50-$6.00/gal. That's 45 minutes away from me. Could be worse here I guess.

Wow! $6.00 per gallon is getting into European pricing (about $8.00 per gallon!). I can not imagine what it would take to run a business paying $6.00 per gallon. Best of luck to those of you who are being pinched by inflated fuel costs and or lack of product.

I don't know how they're going to explain this when its over. Its like we have our own little fuel crisis bubble. All the surrounding areas have no problems and prices are still at pre-Ike levels w/ no shortages.

You guys get your fuel via pipeline and now that is down. Dont forget how much less you usually pay for than we do.
Here in South Florida we have Port Everglades, which is a large fuel depot.
I am now a really big fan of diesel fuel. Last time we had a problem I could always find diesel.
