Gutter Above Gear

We are replacing an existing switchboard on a project to accommodate (16) added sub-feeds to the (8) existing. All are 2 1/2" conduits. I am having a difficult time figuring out if our proposed application to put a large gutter/pull box above the gear is NEC approved. Also difficult to determine size.

I don't see any code issues with the proposed installation. The only thing that you would have to watch out for would be to make sure you have 6x trade size spacing between raceways that contain the same conductors per the second paragraph of 314.28(A)(2).
