I'm having problems sizing a gutter and I'm not sure which section of the code to use. I started in NEC 376.22. The 'gutter' will have (3) #500kcmil and a #3 gnd coming in. It will be tapped with (3) #3 and (1) #8 gnd to feed a panel, and the original 500kcmil and #3 gnd will exit the gutter to feed another gutter. Based on 376.22 it would appear that a 6x6 wireway would be sufficient. How do I determine the length? Would this be considered using the wireawy as a pull box which would cause me to size the 'gutter' based on NEC 314.28?
