Hello this is my first post after lurking many many moons so please take it easy on me
Ok, so I have a 100 amp sub panel in a shed that needs to be supplied from the main panel in the clients basement. Customer has already ran underground 80 foot 2 inch PVC to the house, punched it into his basement wall which ends in a crawlspace. crawlspace goes on another 30 feet to the main panel. So 110 feet. Typically I used to do thwn through the pvc to a junction box then come out with ser to the panel.
The client however wishes for a no junction option. Se cable as I understand cannot be run underground with or without a raceway. So other then continuing his pipe run to the panel what commonly found wire can I use to pull it straight through in this environment. MC and uf of this size is nowhere in stock and to order a 110 foot cut is impossible as far as the suppliers I use is telling me. I would like an aluminum and copper option. USE cable once it is out of the conduit also has to be terminated right away? But I don't think i ever seen a 4 conductor USE either. So I guess what I am asking is, The NEC lists the applicable kinds of cable I can use, but what can I find or order easily that will work?
