Hello, I've got a CLIE' handheld PDA and I would like to find out if there is NECode software available to be installed on it. I checked locally but no one seems to have any. I figured if they can hold th Bible on these things, the NEC should be able to fit also. Thanks

Re: Hand held PDA software

Well, NFPA does not have a copy but said that they will be working on getting one put together. Has anyone seen one anywhere elae?
Thanks!

Re: Hand held PDA software

The NEC CD ROM has a copy in PDF and Adobe will open it just down load the appropriate Adobe soft-ware for the PDA, and then just copy the PDF version of the NEC to the PDA. The file name that is loaded to your hard drive is: NEC2002.PDF and it's size is: 4,506 KB.
This should work with any PDA that can run Adobe Acrobat and has 4.6 MB of free space to load it. I use it on mine with no problems and the Arcobatt will do search's just like the Folio's View's will.

Also the "99" has the same thing but each chapter is a separate file. after fully downloading the NEC to your hard drive look in:

C:\programs\National Fire Protection Association\NFO\NEC2002.PDF
